The Illinois racecourse of East Moline Downs opened for thoroughbred racing in 1973, although it remained operational for just a short time before going bankrupt. The site had previously been used to host harness racing from the 1950s, and remained operational until the early 1990s. |

| Once harness racing ceased the site was used to offer simulcasts and became a casino called Quad City Downs. This remained operational until closing permanently on 31st January 2015. | ||
